"Technology cannot replace teachers,"
"Technology cannot replace teachers," Dr. Anil Balvankar, the principal of P.V.D.T. College of Education, SNDT University, Mumbai avers to say "E-learning is a revolutionary concept, but computers or anything cannot substitute teachers."
In fact, i feel taht all of us are students who learn something new every moment, and teachers build the base for future success. It's a noble profession that shapes an entire generation to serve the society and the nation. It involves being with children and young adults and helping them through formative years of their lives and solving their problems.
Many individuals simply love to do this, and naturally turn teachers. If you have an inborn desire to be in company of children and interact with them, then teaching is the profession for you ,the same reason prompted me towards this profession. A teacher can show the correct way to budding talents of tomorrow.
Rightly or wrongly, teaching has always been thought to be a suitable profession for women. The main reason touted for this is flexible working hours of schools that allow married women to choose this profession which might be true for few but, myself and the teachers, i spoke to, disagree with this. They say they are in teaching because they love the profession. A secondary teacher left a well-paid office job for working in a school because she always wanted to be a teacher. According to me Interacting with children gives immense satisfaction and sense of fulfillment which cant be deccribed in words. So Cheers...........to all the teachers, just keep the good work going.
Bye &take care
